Looks like additional receivers can be purchased separately for a suggested retail price of $149.99. So to construct the same Sonos package would be $550. Maybe just the thing to put a little pressure on Sonos' prices, which have not budged in a long time. Go competition! In reply to: "Logitech's Squeezebox Duet: Sonos for the masses?"

Take 8th Grade American History, read about checks and balances
If it is vital to national security, congress and the president can create a constitutional amendment, which judges then need to adhere to. Do you really want a "wartime" president to be able to enact rules without oversight?

Good points, agreed
I wouldn't knock the X5 for it's video, but potential buyers should be aware that it is, in my opinion, a novelty. And true, X5's open structure doesn't lock you into Itunes or their formats, which makes it better than an Ipod (and the reason I bought it). But I still think a 7 ("Very Good") is fair. For me, giving it a 9 or a 10 implies it can't be improved upon, which I think it can. Cheers!

relax dude (or dudette)
That's quite a bit of inference from my pretty simple statement. My identity isn't tied to a little piece of hardware, but by your response, insulting the X5 made you pretty emotional. I am sorry if I offended you.
Cowon is not particularly forthcoming about the issue. I was originally told there was no battery replacement, after I bought it. I have learned otherwise, and have corrected my opinion.
Peace
