app makers hardly make money, whether with the iphone or android. most of the time they are barely able to break even with production costs, unless they make a very popular app... but even then they dont make that much money... In reply to: "Apple relents on Mad artist's caricature app"

haha didn't Mr. McCain say he didnt even use computers? now he's arguing against net neutrality? While I respect him as a person I feel that he is not in touch with Americans regarding this issue which concerns exactly the things he doesn't even use... the entire principle of "passwords" is flawed. good passwords r hard to guess. hard to guess passwords are hard to memorize. people dont like to memorize, so they dont make good passwords. bad passwords can be guessed or bruteforced from a dictionary. end of story. wats the alternative? Fingerprint scanning is good, but it requires special hardware. password assistants (auto sign in things) are dangerous if u use a shared computer. maybe a usb key is a better idea. then again, it could be stolen. i think creating a new method of user id is one of the big technological challenges facing us. im not sure if windows 7 will make laptops "better" as in better specs for the same price. win7 runs FASTER than Vista on the same hardware. i have a 2 yr old hp with pentium dual core and 2gb of memory, and its faster with win7 installed... i think most specs will remain the same when 7 comes out. only thing to look for is WIFI N, and maybe usb 3.0?
