Subject: Microsoft and Blu-ray!
Blu-ray originally launched in 2006. Sure Microsoft went with another format, but that battle has come and gone.
It's market penetration of blu-ray is currently around the 17% of the market mark and growing.
There are desktop, laptop and tv solutions for blu-ray. Which, other than as a backup medium, are not supported by Microsoft.
In a new operationg system, being release in 2009, there is still no native blu-ray playback support being delivered.
What is the fundamental reason blu-ray playback is not support by Microsoft in either Media Player or Media Center in Windows 7?
Will this? and if so When will this change? Why is Microsoft such a laggard and not a leader in this area?

This is a good review - it needs to be quickly updated after all the 2009 models are finalised, because currently it is a bit a of mix.
Also in the chart why all the "Info unavailable" against thing like THX or S-Video? Mostly this info is a 100% available but it just make the chart all the more confusing. Please fix.
