To this day I still get flak about using my cell at my own wedding nearly nine years ago. My cell is never far from me and I'm on several friends and family emergency call lists simply because they all know, I will have the phone with me, ready to answer, virtually 24 hours a day. Obviously work, travel, a few other situations will force me to delay immediately responding to every call but in this case I didn't see the problem.
Yes, I was at the altar, yes, the procession had begun, but the bride was still several minutes away from her arrival - phone vibrates, I look at the caller ID - glance up at the caller among the guests, smile, shake my head and slip it back into my pocket. Just slow enough that the bride caught a glimpse of me holding the phone from far far away.
The legend has since grown to include full on conversation, texting, etc ... but it really wasn't that bad. And yes, I was twittering / facebooking / emailing from the delivery room a few weeks ago. But, only one text went out right away - the rest didn't go out until about an hour and a half after delivery - darn clean-up and nurses telling me to photograph the baby / hold the baby / and help support the wife physically and mentally during the clean-up ... wow ... TMI but still a little shocking to have lived through that entire episode.
Cells have their place but be warned, a few years back I had to eulogize a much younger cousin (motorcycle victim) and pre-warned the congregation that any ringing cell would be confiscated by me and entombed with the deceased ... a cell went off ... I stopped, beckoned for the device, the user refused to comply, I told him that his lack of respect was shameful and kicked him out. For the record, my uncle / aunt had arranged one final private viewing before burial and YES, I would have tossed the phone in with him.
Just because we have the ability to remain connected at all times doesn't mean we should be.
hahaha

Although it is humours at first glance the suspension comes from the fact that after you chuckle you stop to realize a horrible crime occurred to some local victim.

HAHAHA
I love it, too funny.
I especially think it's great that so many of the banned console owners are continuing to play with their old profiles. Don't they realize that they've been flagged and that MS is simply waiting for them to plunk down another year's subscription before a routine sweep bans their replacement hardware and profile.
HAHAHA
Seriously, if you enjoy live - get a PRO, but a legitimate copy, start a new profile, stop cheating.

Is it just me or does the complex set-up description remind everyone else of the Space Shuttle toilets.
Here you go astronaught, strap in, strap on, push, and be careful NOT to get stuck from the suction.

That's pretty sad. On the one hand you could possibly argue that there's only so many options for creating a single hand held remote control - but on the other hand - damn! May as well come out with some exciting new Sony titles like: BARIO (try to save the queen of the hood), the History of Thelda (female elf trying to save kingdom), Orb of Duty (cheap knock off of Halo and COD - oh wait, they already made Kill Zone). Dear Cheapskate,
I enjoy your posts but would appreciate if your headlines outright specify NEW or REFURB.
Keep the deals coming.
Thanks and have a nice day!

My first impressions are mixed. Since I knew it had been built using the H3 game engine incorporated with some H2 graphic elements I assumed it would be somewhat familiar. The amazing fact is that simply adding inclement weather and darkness changes the environment dramatically. It's very unnerving to carefully manuever around the battlefield city especially when your night vision / visr is disabled. The ambient sounds and visuals are pretty cool and the map is similar to the Halo Wars map - makes me wonder if Ensemble and Bungie had a couple of employees cross over back and forth. The human limitations are quickly realized, I have to laugh over my inability to hop up from ground and clear a low wall ... the chief would have cleared it like it wasn't there ... the rookie gets almost as high as the curb and then ... smack, back to earth buddy.
Having read this article I am a little miffed to learn it's only around 5 hours of gameplay although I do appreciate the seemingly easy achievements and gamerscore.
BTW - am I missing something, I played the first solo level and found my first teammate's helmet but ran out of ammo along the way for my special battle rifle. I don't want to drop it since I'm assuming it's special. Luckily I'm on EASY so I was able to pick up loose weapons and beat up baddies.
