That's a year and a half away, not a few months.
I wish the media will learn some math. They made the same mistake at the end of the 20th century. Missed the end by 365 days.

In New York City? What are the thinking?
Over 90% of New York (Manhattan) residents don't have curb side access to electricity for recharging.
I don't want them on the sidewalk. Mayor Bloomburg will have to band cars on 7th & 8th avenues just so these things can have a way to move without becoming bug on the windsheld of a NYC Taxi.
