Don't know what all this excitement is over BD players is. I recently bought a Samsung 1400 for $280 at Costco. Plays BDs fine, although response to control commands is a bit slow. So what! (See my comments on this product). In reply to: "Sony bows $200 Blu-ray player"

This guy is nuts - or he works for Nero
This software was apparently rushed to faulty completion because of Roxio's release of Creator 9. It is completely buggy and doesn't work. Likewise the Cnet reviewer seems to be in with the Nero staff. The 8 rating is nonsense. Even if it works - somehow - trying to figure out how is not worth any amount.
DON'T GO NEAR IT.

A Fine Piece of Equipment - Excellent Quality and Functionality
I agree with hkasler?s opinion ? except I don?t think there is anything wrong with the resolution. Since I use it mostly in my house the weight is not a problem. I also like the built in TV and DVD burner.
Everything is in the right place, and the keyboard keys are raised somewhat more than a lot of other laptops making it easier to type with.
This machine is high quality and a pleasure to use. I recommend it highly if you don?t mind the size and weight.
