By the same reasoning, everyone in the world is delusional, because we all defense our choices at one time or the other.
Did you vote for Obama? You are delusional. Did you vote for Bush? You were delusional. Did you like this article? You are delusional.
And Chris, did you write this article and feel good about it? You are delusional.

It is already happening with Netbooks (just not from Psystar).
Many Netbooks runs Snow Leopard very well, including Dell Mini 10v and Lenovo Ideapad S-10. You bet their hardware engineering team did their best to make sure the hardware works with SL.
Actually, Dell has a Mini 10 which is not SL-compatible, and then released 10v. Make a guess with Mini 10v is way more popular than Mini 10.

Not a surprise.
Chinese can get Wifi-enabled iPhone, unlocked, on the street for cheaper. Why would anyone buy from China Unicom?

It is a very sexy phone. However, it looks big from the video - which it has to be, given the processor, to make the battery last reasonable amount of time. That also means a higher resolution screen.
I wouldn't be surprised if it costs $400 with 2-yr contract, and that will kill the product.
And I still think the biggest problem is the size. The video used female model. I just don't see how a teenager/20's girl carrying a big phone like that.

Keyboard and mouse are better input for DATA ENTRY. Touch is a better input for browsing.
Apple's use of touch on iPhone and iPod Touch is right-on. They are browsing device. People won't do a lot of data entry on them.
However, if you want to write a report, keyboard and mouse are essential.

Several holes in the story.
1. First, this developer does not work for Google. He is an independent who is putting an UI over Google's service. In another word, his is "freeloading".
2. Even if his app got pulled, the app should still work on existing customers' iPhone, unless Google (not Apple) changed something to block him. In another word, he was freeloading, and Google didn't like it, so Google cut him off.
3. How does he connect to Google service? He might be doing webpage scraping (against iPhone SDK agreement). I don't know if there is an official Google Voice API (I doubt it). If there is, I am sure the Google license agreement prohibit him from making commercial software with the API (think Google Map). I am 99% certain that he broke either Apple's or Google's agreement, and he knew it.
4. Fundamentally, freeloading a third party's service is not good for the market. It is not that different from piracy. Consumers love piracy because it is cheaper, but it is not good for innovation in long term.
5. Google's official app getting rejected is a different story. Quite possibly, it will re-appear with Google requiring Wifi for connection (like all the other VoIP apps). Wait for a few weeks and let's see.

To the customers, they may be able to filter by the phone model, but how will developers test the compatibility?

If the number of phone models is an indication of success, Microsoft would already killed of all the competition with dozens Windows Mobile models.
And when WM7 releases, again, it will have dozens of models.
