• While the Windows 7 has been better than my Vista Home Premium, I went back to XP on my laptop and I feel better that it'll run anything I throw at it without much fuss. I'm going to hold off my next desktop purchase until Windows 7 comes out. In reply to: "What's so bad about XP?"

• I agree, PS3 will upconvert your regular DVDs as well as any expensive upconverting DVD player.
  Blu-ray movie price will go down as it becomes more popular.

• The people who complain are the ones who don't have the knowledge to upgrade the OS to the latest version. Once the new OS is installed, most of the 'issues' will be resolved. For the people who returned it prematurely, they will never know what they missed, oh well. I am going to wait for the newer versions to come out officially out of the box until my Strom purchase; until then, I'm still happy with my Pearl. In reply to: "BlackBerry Storm customers complain"

• I'm using the Windows 7 on my laptop that I got in 2005. It's got Centrino 1.73Ghz, 1GB RAM, 100GB HDD, and integrated graphics. It was sluggish with all the graphics enhancements enabled; by setting for 'Best performance', it got noticeably faster. At times, the CPU runs at 100% without me running anything, I don't know what's running in the background that's hogging all the resources.
  
  So far, it's been more positive than negative overall.
  
  I'm looking to buy a new laptop and it will have Windows 7 pre-installed. In reply to: "A tale of two Windows installs"
