Yes, it's sad (as a consumer / buyer) to walk in expecting a good deal, but we can't blame CC, per se`, as the stores are in the hands of the liquidators. I went to CC on Friday...with huge 70% off signs out front...but as I entered the store, smaller signs informed me that items were reduced 40-70% off. The shelves were pretty much barren by this time, but I did see some headphones that I had been looking at. Online prices for this item ranged from $44-$60, while Best Buy sold these 'phones for $48 (sale price). I was fully expecting a great price, but CC's price....$43!! I agree with others who mentioned Linens n' Things....maybe the same liquidators were used at both stores. In reply to: "Last days of Circuit City: Lousy bargains, rumpled salespeople"

Questions
First of all, I will make no claims to being a computer whiz or having any outstanding knowledge about how they work. I'm just an average user. I do have a couple questions. 1) Is the solution simply to uninstall FF or IE7? Personally I prefer Firefox. So I went to uninstall IE7, which leads me to....2) When using the Add/Remove Programs tool, when you get to the point where it asks you if you "really want to do this" ...(ok, not an exact quote, but you get what I mean)... it gives you this mile long list of things that "may not function correctly" if you dare to remove IE7. Not feeling too brave at that point, I decided to ask first before I possibly screw up a ton of apps.
Can anyone supply some answers?
Thanks for the help!
