  • During my wife and mine's trip I used uTube and Flikr to blog photos and video directly from my cell phone. It worked great. I just aggregated it all together on this blog page.

  • There are some Law enforement agencies that still rely on Polaroids to collect evidence of crime scenes. I have heard there are some issues with cheap digital cameras not giving true black color not allowing for a representative picture to be taken.
I wonder if that is still an issue or not?? In reply to: "Saying goodbye to Polaroid instant film"

  • Seriously "God of Facebook"
Janetti Chon's comment comparing Zuckerberg to god in her statement, "I mean, this is the god of Facebook." is really caring that term a little too far. Zuckerberg only got to this point levergage stolen code from his work with ConnectU. In reply to: "Journalist becomes the story at Mark Zuckerberg SXSWi keynote"

  • That makes too much sense
I would say that Toshiba's partners would never go for that. What kind of digital video formats are open source at current time?

  • Why we should all care about OLPC.
I became concerned after hearing the news of the Intel and OLPC fall out. I believe that OLPC is a KEY asset in a ?Proliferation of Information Technology? strategy.
The IT proliferation movement can strengthen overall strategic security, and diplomatic relations for the US and other global stakeholders and citizens. The end goal should specifically focus on cultivating good non-official channels of media communications or ?Citizen Journalism?. The ?OLPC? would offer the young generations, eager to share, a chance to complete that loop for two way communications.
Knowledge is the key to freedom and works better when shared in both directions. Instability and unpredictability due to insufficient information makes people afraid of the unknown. The default behavior results in closed/protective positioning or indifference. The IT proliferation movement will keep us from being doomed to enslavement by our own ignorance. In reply to: "OLPC fires back at Intel, children learn nothing"

  • No offense but
No offense Chris but I would like to see more about privacy and security and less about what price dsl is from AT&T.. Maybe give some more about how security of the net can be effected by the increased access to always on internet.. In reply to: "AT&T quietly rolls out reasonably-priced unbundled DSL"
