  • Ditch the lame Sony navigation system, browsing music/video/photo libraries are a pain in the rear. If that would have been better from the start, the PSP could have secured and held market share that the iPod now owns... for now I'll stick with my Touch for media. Dual "joysticks" would be nice, but the PSP is not the best platform for shooters, drivers and other games that would benefit from that addition. Sony is the master of product ergonomics, they need to redesign the PSP to feel better in our hands and move some of the buttons that are easily triggered accidentally during intense game play. Boost the audio output for music and video playback. Fingerprints... personally they don't bother me, but since so many people continue to whine about it... make the case a grippy, matte finish and the screen anti-reflective. Internal hard drive... DVD... bluetooth... get real! But enough onboard flash memory would be nice. If they stick with UMDs, let's hope they redesign the case to make 'em a little sturdier. Blah, blah, blah... • "Where are these magical Anascape controllers?"

Really... more importantly where is this "magical" company? I failed to find a link to them on google, just stories of this lawsuit.

And... what about them also suing Microsoft over their controllers? So why aren't they also suing Sony?? Come on CNET, that's news too isn't it?!

This is all about "vaporware" and greed in my opinion, similar to the lawsuit that Gibson has tried to pursue against Guitar Hero for copyright infringement of "technologies that simulate a live concert event" that they filed years ago. Funny that they didn't mention it until the latest version came out! Smells of lawyers (or similar bottom-feeders) looking for "loopholes" to generate additional income/royalties doesn't it?

@#$% that judge, the lawyers and non-company for wasting the courtroom's (and our!) time. In reply to: "Nintendo faces ban on some Wii, GameCube controllers"

  • Hmmm... get rid of speaker wires and have power cords running from each speaker instead? And this is supposed to be better??!! Plus be forced to use their power amp... come on people, this is NOT a step forward!! In reply to: "Neosonik ditches the wires on surround sound audio"

  • Sony... Do you even care?
I agree with many of the points posters have made. And I am glad that Crave
is "spreading the word" on what's to come from Sony. Yes... what has
happened to Sony. They were the first electronics company to design with
human ergonomics in mind. They invented the portable/personal music
player market. They brought us the first solid state TVs and the Trinitron
CRT. They had a hand in developing the Compact Disc format with Philips.
They corned the 2ndGen game market with a powerful machine, the fact that
it was backwards compatible with their previous system was a major feature
for gamers who wanted to upgrade their PS1 even at the steep launch price of
$300. And now that PS2 games won't even play on the latest PS3, it's proof
they don't care about their core audience anymore. I too have been mulling
over whether or not to drop the funds on a PS3, even with the recent price
drop... but now, NO THANKS! Get a clue Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo are
kicking your butts and you are doing nothing but alienating the very people
that helped you "get your foot in the door" of the home video game market.
Wake up!! In reply to: "The real price to pay for the new PS3"

  • Nicole Simpson?!
You talkin' about OJ's ex-wife?? Or did you "fuse" Nicole Ritchie and Jessica

Simpson? Sorry, just don't get the iPhone/Blackberry/John Mayer connection.

Though being murder by a former running back would be quit painful. Please

enlighten. Cheers, AR In reply to: "John Mayer dumps Apple for BlackBerry"

  • Ditto! What's going on?
Yes... with Leopard a couple of months off, what's the point. Some sort of attempt to keep the Apple faithful's interest in the wake of their over-coverage of Vista?? I think I'll unsubscribe to Cnet's "news" letter, they keep repeating stories and now are really behind the times. In reply to: "Reviewed 2 years later????"
