Whoever says Batman Begins is better than the Dark Knight needs to watch them again. Better cinematography? Dark Knight. Better acting? Dark Knight. Better music? Dark Knight. Better editing? Definitely The Dark Knight. Meaningful messages on Post 9/11 America, torture, terrorists, vigilantism, politics, and the Bush Administration? Dark Knight. Katie Holmes? Batman Begins.

But you're still getting a good deal when upgrading from Tiger. Apple isn't offering $30 to Leopard customers because they want to compete with Windows 7. They're selling it for $30 because no one with Leopard will pay $130 for Snow Leopard when it has very few new, visible features. When upgrading from Tiger, you're getting Snow Leopard, including what was in Leopard, and iWork '09 and iLife '09. So anyone who downloads that is still cheap and deserves the malware.

iPod Shuffle. It's way too big. I won't be happy until it becomes part of the headphones. I don't need navigation controls. It will decide what to play and when you turn on and off. In reply to: "Friday Poll: Which gadgets should Slim down?"

Who said it only has a touch screen keyboard? While I wouldn't be surprised if Apple only had a software keyboard on this tablet, we know nothing. The thing could have a physical keyboard. Don't criticize something until it's actually announced (if this rumor is true). In reply to: "Report: Apple tablet on track for early 2010"

I think Apple TV didn't make it onto the list is because it wasn't a big, hyped product that flopped or failed. No one expected it to be huge or anything close to that. Even Apple didn't (and still doesn't) have any expectations for the Apple TV (they say it's "just a hobby"). The list is for hyped up things that failed, Apple TV isn't one of them. Thank you for proving to me that the only thing more obnoxious than a whiny "Applebot" is a whiny "Microbot" (not very clever but you get that you're a crazy, closed minded Microsoft fanboy). And before you call me an "Applebot" for dissing something non-Apple but not actually praising Apple, read what you're saying. Calling someone an Apple fanboy for criticizing the Laptop Hunter's ad, without them actually saying anything Apple being superior or anything, makes you a fanboy.

Are you actually saying the Zune was more successful than the first generation iPhone? There is a huge difference in the two devices. The first iPhone wasn't as successful as the iPhone 3G because of it's price. Everyone wanted it, but couldn't afford it. When the price dropped people bought it. They didn't buy it because it was cheap, they bought it because they wanted the iPhone and could finally afford it. The Zune didn't and still doesn't sell very well because no one wants it. They lowered the prices a bit, and very few people still want an Zune. Do I have to show you the study that shows 100% of teens or something are planning to buy an iPod? It's because the iPod is a huge brand and while the Zune is still well known, no one wants it. The Zune messed it up for themselves and the Zune HD will still be a Zune to everyone. Microsoft should have revamped the interface and given the design of the software and hardware a new style. That way people wouldn't see it as a Zune, because it's so different. But even if people bought this new PMP it wouldn't even leave the slightest kink in Apple's market share.

You know, for developers to move to the Zune people actually need to buy the device. The device needs to show that many people will buy it and the device lives up to the hype commercially. The Zune brand hasn't done this and, honestly, probably never will.
@Magicland
Have YOU no brain? iPhone OS is based off of OS X, which there are many apps for...but you can't run them on the iPhone. There may be apps based on Windows CE, but they have to be made for something like the Zune. You will not be able to run any apps on this Zune HD that are not made specifically for the Zune platform. So while Windows CE might have more apps for everything based off of it than the iPhone, the Zune HD has zero apps for it.
