I too would like to see Firefox print a page without most of the information missing! The printing capability really took a downturn in 3.5. Blowing it on basic features like this is what will make people move to other browsers like Chrome and Safari and even IE. In reply to: "Firefox's future features: 3.6, 3.7, and 4.0"

You can save a lot of bandwidth while Web surfing by using Firefox with the AdBlock Plus add-on to block most Web page ads. It's generally nice to not see ads, but it's especially important to improve the speed of your Web surfing sessions when using a slow connection like this. In reply to: "'BB' 3G on the MacBook Air"

Mistake #1: Going to Best Buy to get the best notebook. All kidding aside though, I have bought five notebooks there over the years. And when they failed (two out of five times), Best Buy either refunded my money completely or gave me a completely new PC. I did have the service contracts, which I think is important for notebook purchases. Anyway, Best Buy has the occasional bargain notebook which they have worked with the notebook company to produce, but if you want a good notebook built to your specifications, check out Dell; or if you want instant shipping quality, check out Asus; or if you want a bargain and don't mind occasional quality control problems, buy Acer! Obviously it is vulnerable and has been hacked; otherwise, the US Government would state categorically that it has not been penetrated. To say that it has not been remotely controlled by unauthorized CHINESE and RUSSIAN government agencies is little consolation. Just because they have not pulled the trigger on their hacks does not mean that they cannot do that on a moment's notice. How about we spend some stimulus money monitoring those systems closely AND looking through the code for previous hacks? In reply to: "Just how vulnerable is the electrical grid?"

I liked those underlying encyclopedias. I thought that they were good for younger readers. I especially liked the Colliers yearbooks that they included within their encyclopedia. I really hope that they do something with this content like donate it to the Wikipedia project. In reply to: "Microsoft closing the book on Encarta"

The specifications mentioned in the article make the netbook look similar to the Dell Adamo but the important specifications are that the Adamo processor is dual core and significantly more powerful and the screen is higher resolution. It is very heavy for such a small notebook. Why not compare the netbook to the Dell Latitude E4200 that only weighs 2.2 pounds; has several battery, docking, and operating system options; on-site support; etc. In reply to: "Laptop class warfare: Apple vs. Asus"

Four pounds is kind of heavy for an ultraslim notebook like this. How is this notebook as good as their own Dell Latitude E4200 that weights only 2.2 pounds and has otherwise similar specs.? In reply to: "Dell Adamo: All dressed up with nowhere to go?"
