i've been using ipods for a long time now but i must say the audio quality just doesn't compare to sony. i don't even feel like listening to certain songs that i absolutely love hearing on good speakers. maybe it's time for an upgrade. In reply to: "Sony Walkman styles up Japan"

what would it take for an mp3 player to get a perfect score? well whatever happened to that new bluetooth profile, the lossless one? i think it was called soundabout lossless. that replacing a2dp would be a great start for me personally. the lack of grammar in this story is ridiculous
would you guys get some dang editors to fix all your grammar mistakes? i mean seriously, i remember when it was hard to ever find a mistake in a newspaper. these days, every article or blog has mistakes, some so severe they can alter what the article is trying to say.
"And I'm not taking about the hardware side here;"
oh really? you didn't "take" any "about the hardware"? can i take some?
"the manufacturer hardly dealt it with it again."
oh, the manufacturer "dealt it with it," huh? well, they showed them!!
"And if a customers wanted to buy new apps"
so only a customers want to buy apps? what about b customers?
"The company didn't cede ground to AT&T on the iPhone's design, its features, is interface or its price."
??? its features are interface?
"In other words, instead of being just be a way for customers to access apps and services"
instead of being just be a way... it actually took me a while to figure out what you wanted to say here.
if you learned english as a second language, then i retract my comments and commend you for learning a new language and working in the environment that you do. but if you are a native english speaker as i suspect you are, well this is just pathetic. when did the press get so sloppy? i've noticed this everywhere, there is just a gross negligence in the press these days for correctly written grammar. if it was some fanboy blog i'd understand, but i expect better from cnet and all the other corporate run news services.
