Is anyone using the leaked Technical Preview on a regular basis? If it's even close to as stable as the Windows 7 Betas were, I'm gonna get on that right away, it looks great! In reply to: "Office 2010 test version leaks onto Web"

Try one of the many torrent sites. I've seen confirmations that the .iso floating around the torrents as build 7000 is the same release as the public one from the MS website. In reply to: "Where's Windows 7 beta? Microsoft posts, then pulls the download"

And according to a google search anyways, it seems that they're issuing duplicate keys to people, and they're activating on multiple people's computers with no problem at all. Maybe they're scrapping the activation thing altogether? In reply to: "Where's Windows 7 beta? Microsoft posts, then pulls the download"

Someone just pointed me to this method http://blog.hznet.nl/2009/01/10/how-to-receive-a-valid-windows-7-key which seems to work for getting a key. Don't know how they managed it, but I'm not asking questions! In reply to: "Where's Windows 7 beta? Microsoft posts, then pulls the download"

Well when I'm using my main browser (Firefox) my Gmail is courtesy of Gmail Redesigned (http://www.globexdesigns.com/gr/) which is EASILY the best Gmail skin out there.
When I'm on Chrome, I'm partial to the Graffiti theme.
In terms of lab features, Attachment Detector has saved me twice in the last week alone!

I've been using the Messenger 2009 Beta for a couple months now and absolutely love it! I've only run into 2 or 3 bugs (though I'm not a developer), but in terms of user experience, it's a MASSIVE improvement over the old MSN Messenger.
I don't know why they haven't updated the beta in a while though!

I don't know about the US, but in Canada, I checked in and boarded my flight using nothing but my iPod Touch. There wasn't even a need for PDF barcode scanning. Basically, I checked in online, using the iTouch's wifi connection and an email was then sent to the account I specified (the one attached to the mail app on my iTouch). All the email contained was about 4 lines of text which included everything a boarding pass would. My name, gate number, flight number, seat number, time of flight, airline, etc.
When I got to the luggage dropped off, the person at the desk checked it, and took my luggage. At security, the guard looked at it, and I went through the detector. At boarding, the attendant looked at it, clicked something on her computer, and that was the end of it.
I never even needed to take my earphones out!
