Seth,
The link to TooManyTabs is to an older version, which no longer works with Chrome. Here is the link to the current version: https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/amigcgbheognjmfkaieeeadojiibgbdp

"Plans come and go. I have a 240 min. plan on Sprint for $10/month. Let's see you find that one online."
I know, but the price structures that exist now have been the same for some time. Even T-Mobile's restructuring didn't change them that much.

The thing is - T-Mobile's coverage in urban areas is adequate, and they're running about $75 for 1000 minutes and unlimited data, vs. $100 & up for everyone else. I agree with you about people being reluctant to pay a higher initial cost, but if someone came out with a phone that was merely *as good as* the iPhone, and you could use it on T-Mobile's network, *and* if they could keep the price down to around $300, that could cut seriously into the iPhone's sales. The two things that have kept me from buying an iPhone are that I refuse to get married for two years to AT&T, and that if I were to buy an unlocked iPhone, it wouldn't work properly on T-Mobile's 3G network. ballmerisanape, I don't know where you're getting your figures. There is no 700 minute plan; did you mean 900? The 900 minute voice plan is $60, not $50. Data and messaging are another $30, although you can get data only for $15. That would be $75. Is that what you have? In reply to: "Google phone looks 'supersharp'"

Well, I've just downloaded it, along with Lightning and the Google add-on. Firstly, it doesn't look any different. secondly, neither add-on will work with it.
With Outlook, I get everything I need in one place, without add-ons, and Google's own Google Calendar Sync provides synchronization on the fly. Every time I take a look at Thunderbird, it ends up being a waste of my time.
