  • Sure, if you wanted to do 100 searches for the 100 items in the folder.

Personally I like having all my options on the screen for me to chose from and not have to remember what they are called, how they are spelled and then have to type it in.

Back in the 20th century they invented something called a mouse and a GUI so you wouldn't have to do all that typing.

Besides, why would you search for something you can have right in front of you to just click on? In reply to: "Understanding Windows 7's 'GodMode'"

  • Yeah, I know what the article says. Someone should tell Steve that Disney was doing themes long before Apple ever was.... In reply to: "Disney opening 'magical' Times Square store"

  • Omg, you can't even open a store with a theme without some nut mentioning how he thinks it was Apple who influenced the idea.

What did you people do before you started kissing Apple's a$$? By the way, you have a little brown spot on your lip there..... In reply to: "Disney opening 'magical' Times Square store"

  • That's funny, I was just watching a news story saying what a banner year this has been for Hollywood, and how the movie attendance has been better than ever. Pretty strange.

I don't even go to movies any more. I prefer watching them on my big screen TV, and am willing to pay more to purchase them than to go to a movie theater which seem to be full of brats, jerks and a$$holes. Not to mention the expense.

The last movies I went to were LOTR movies and the Spiderman movies, and those were all ruined for me by people talking, phones ringing, kids opening the emergency exits (trying to get into movies they didn't pay to see), at one movie they did this and left the door open letting all the light in. I asked for my money back but the management refused. That was the last time I went to a theater.

I might be going to see Avatar in 3D at the Imax, but since I really find 3D to be a gimmick and to actually detract from the movie, this will likely be the last one I will see in a theater for quite a while. In reply to: "Box office sales outpace disc sales in 2009"

  • Not having a problem on my HTC winmo phone. Even if I was though....yawn....so?

I delete my old text messages anyway. No big deal unless you don't know it's 2010.

I suppose if you woke up in a hospital from a coma and saw a text from your wife dated 2016 it might cause you some concern... In reply to: "Windows Mobile glitch dates 2010 texts 2016"

  • Actually I believe 10 decimal in hex is A.

10 hex is 16 in decimal. In reply to: "Windows Mobile glitch dates 2010 texts 2016"

  • My phone is not showing any signs of this either. To be fair to Ina, she did get a quote from MS saying they are aware of the problem, thus substantiating it as NOT A RUMOR (as opposed to NOT A TUMOR).

"It could be a rumor", "It's NOT A RUMOR!". (say with your best Arnold accent). In reply to: "Windows Mobile glitch dates 2010 texts 2016"

  • @Nalox

I have an HTC phone and it works awesome. Never had a problem with it. I highly doubt they are "the worst phones on the market". I think maybe you should try them before spouting your mouth off.

iCan't is closed (you can only buy aps from the Apple ap store and can only use it on the carrier of Apples choosing).

iCan't is censored for content by Apple at the Ap Store (Google censors searches in China because they are forced to by the Chinese government, Apple does it because if Apple wants your opinion, they'll give it to you).

iCan't is made in China (thus helping the communist government, this is not my point I'm just clarifying)

    iCan't o/s is getting old

iCan't itself is old news. Do yourself a favor, try something new.

For all those people too dumb to understand the above points, I have spelled them out for you. I don't own an iCan't but even I understood what the people who brought up the above points were talking about. In reply to: "Live coverage of Google's Android phone announcement"

  • I wouldn't call the Pre "luke warm".

The Pre is an excellent piece of hardware with an excellent o/s. As their aps increase in number we will see more and more people using it. I would have purchased on myself if they had of been available to me last summer.

As I mentioned, if Nokia purchased Palm to get the Pre, they would have a great leg up in this market. In reply to: "Nokia: We will match Apple, RIM"
