My comments

  • OK Don, normally I respect your somewhat radical opinions, but this was nothing short of shameful. There were few facts in this post, absolutely nothing meaningful, and, above all, you plastered every Best Buy and Circuit City store with the same image as the two that you happened to go to. Customer experiences vary greatly by region, as do store designs and prices, and your sweeping generalization was irresponsible and completely without merit. My local best buy is best described as a very loud warehouse with lots of blue, idle employees, and no shoppers, only lookers. The circuit city just down the street, however, is full of customers looking to buy who get meaningful help from the customer service, all of whom maintain a respectful distance and sense of privacy for the customers until they know that you need help. I'm sorry, but this reflects very poorly on Cnet's editing staff, which I normally hold a lot of respect for. In reply to: "Is Circuit City dead?"

  • What are YOU tripping on?
The Touch doesn't even come CLOSE to this player. The feature set on the Zen is infinitely better and more versitile, and, personally, I'd rather have buttons and expandable memory for video than a big screen with no storage for video. In reply to: "Absolute Garbage"

  • Hold it guys...
Hang on a sec. Before everyone starts shouting "iPhone copycat!iPhone copycat!..." (looks like I'm a little late) it's my duty to remind you that a gadget like this takes a long time to develop and had to have been designed BEFORE the iPhone was announced. Besides, who cares how a gadget was designed as long as you get what you want for a fair price (maybe apple should read that last part. In reply to: "Samsung's answer to the iPhone"
