LED lights have potential I guess, but now that the hoax of global warming has been exposed (ala climategate) we can take our time and let the free market develop the best technologies. In reply to: "LED lights creep toward mainstream in 2010"

Is Microsoft suffering from low self esteem? I mean really! They didn't expect the requests for the Windows 7 Beta download [obviously]. Lifehacker and Neowin have the direct links to the iso download but they seem to cut out at about a quarter of the way through the download process. :-( I have no complaints about Windows Vista and I heard Windows 7 is really, really good. I want to try it (so frustrating), COME ON MICROSOFT! Get your giant corporation moving and get enough servers and/or mirror sites online. You promised us Windows 7 Beta and now we want it! Where's my iBook!?
While this "toaster" stereo ipod thing is interesting I just want to
point out a few things. The current power pc iBook is nearly 230
days old. In fact we could have waited for a new Mac Mini. I'm sure
there are a lot of consumers like me who want to replace their
aging iBooks but can't cause Apple wants to waste time with
making stereos for college kids who can't afford or care about an
ipod stereo. WHERE IS MY INTEL IBOOK!??? ***?

I'm a OS X & XP user and have to agree with...
I've got to agree with thefox84 on this one. Windows Vista appears to be quite amazing. Plus Microsoft is finally delivering a secure product and I'm afraid apple is letting their guard down. Hackers have already begun to pay more attention to Apple's OS X with "leap a" and other trojans / worms appearing lately.

iBook of course
The iBook is way over due for a makeover. I bet the new Macbook
(NO PRO) will replace the iBook on Feb 28.
