  • I like the home theater category Rick... maybe some HTIB's? Looking to add another to my collection soon. Thanks as always! In reply to: "Get a Polk Audio CS1 center channel for $66.99"

  • Live Search for Windows Mobile 6.1 ( I have a Q9) is a life saver. The fact that I can pull up businesses, addresses, phone numbers, and have contacts created instantly is amazing. That said, there are too many options for the pc, and I do not use it from my browser. In reply to: "Microsoft strikes deals for Live Search"

  • I have been grabbing a bunch of items off of buy.com the past few days as well.

This 1gb Sandisk Flash drive for $5.99 (free Shipping, before %5 coupon code). Personally, I bought it for use with my lowly Dell 530S in ReadyBoost. It raised the Windows Experience Score a whole point!

The Jabra BT2040 Bluetooth headset for $8.99 (free shipping, before %5 coupon code). Not a big fan of headsets but this is something I can use while my Q9C is charging.

Also grabbed a ~$15 Pink Sansa Express for a coworker in our secret santa dealio. Buy.com is beginning to be a daily stop for me right after the Cheapskate and Engadget! Thanks Rick. In reply to: "Five dirt-cheap tech gifts for the holidays"

  • More often than not, you can also find a very comparable system in the Dell Outlet for $30 to $40 less. This is the route I took, and could not be happier. Spend that saved cash on a low-profile graphics card from Newegg and you have yourself a respectable multitasking machine for just over $300, shipped! BTW, this column is awesome.
