  • Wow, dude.

Paragraph breaks. Learn about them. In reply to: "New Windows 7 launch video breaks bizarre barrier"

  • Yes, Microsoft has only had a decade to perfect WinCE/Windows Mobile/Whatever.

Let's give them the benefit of the doubt, shall we? In reply to: "Microsoft's 'Pink' emerges from Danger's shadow"

  • I'm not impressed. I love my 3G for its data handling capabilities and organization, but absolutely detest the hit-or-miss (mostly miss) ATT service. Seattle is a major U.S. business center, and I can't get consistent 3G coverage? In reply to: "Faster AT&T 3G on its way, slowly"

  • No kidding. If C|Net had the temerity to actually investigate a story instead of simply regurgitating what Gene Muster says, they might actually do a story about the fact that ATT - not Apple - is to blame for the continuing lack of MMS and tethering on the iPhone.

What craptastic service. I will jump ship from ATT the moment the iPhone opens up to other carriers. In reply to: "Is AT&T losing its grip on the iPhone?"

  • "Extraordinary action"?

Changing the boot arguments is extraordinary? In reply to: "64-bit Snow Leopard defaults to 32-bit kernel"

  • Why can tiny software companies update their software several times a year, charging only for major upgrades?

What's wrong at Adobe? Too top-heavy?

I remember when Adobe used to patch two versions back to fix bugs and maintain compatibility - like when the PowerPC math engine was given to customers free of charge. Too bad Adobe isn't still the same company. In reply to: "Relax: Photoshop CS3 works on Snow Leopard"

  • Most people don't know that the Air Force's space budget is larger than all of NASA's. In other words, NASA is NOT the top-funded space agency in the United States.

Just so you know where the country's priorities are. Perhaps if more funds were available, we'd have a new vehicle by now; for the naysayers here, you might want to stop for a moment and think about when the shuttle's funding was approved - 1970 - and understand that the first vehicles were built during the 1970s. They're highly instrumented, there are a lot of complicated parts with incredibly close tolerances, and a lot of lives on the line. This could just be a bad sensor - but either way, an eight-inch hydrogen vlave...well, that's something you want to ensure is working before tanking.

NASA is right to err on the side of caution, and nothing in the space program gets solved easily. In reply to: "Shuttle grounded by hydrogen valve glitch"

  • Not exactly a well-informed comment. Virtually no listeners can tell the difference between a 1411kbps CDDA and 256kbps Apple Lossless.

But thanks for playing.... In reply to: "September 9, 2009, could be a Beatles perfect storm"

Great job, Carly. Let's have her do the same thing for the state of California. In reply to: "HP quarterly profit dips 19 percent"
