  • I don't care what market position a product has, I just care about quality & reliability. I also tire of the arrogance of Apple & many of Apple's users. In reply to: "Report: Dell to launch Android phone with AT&T"

  • The Space Station is important but so is going to Mars.

The ISS and/or the Moon could be used as a staging point for a Mars mission. For example, Instead of launching directly from Earth to Mars, Astronauts could get set up on the ISS then go from the ISS to Mars. In reply to: "NASA's budget focus: Moon, Mars, or ISS?"

  • Upon release, Some will gripe just because it?s a Microsoft product, but As long as good games that take FULL advantage of Natal's capabilities are released for it, I think it has a chance at success.

Not having tactual feedback isn?t bad, just different.

The price of the finished product could help or hurt it though, so Obviously it needs to be released with a reasonable price. In reply to: "Exclusive: Getting up close and personal with Natal"

  • This is my cautionary thoughts on this issue -

We could unintentionally screw up the environment by doing things that are legitimately meant to save it.

I?m all for protecting the environment & all it?s life forms, but I want it done in such a way that the unintended consequences are completely avoided or at the very least reasonably minimized. In reply to: "GE: Smart grid yields net-zero energy home"

  • Nintendo should release a version of the Micro for $20 with abundant internal memory & a built in, pop out USB plug. They could sell the retro GB & GBA games as very inexpensive downloads.

You?d plug a Micro into your PC, download games from Nintendo, transfer them to your Micro & pop it in your pocket or purse for times of boredom. In reply to: "Retro Gadget: An ode to my Game Boy Micro"

  • But, How long will this deal last? This could be $5 to lure in the masses, then jack up the price a few months later.

Obviously though, They'ed lose customers if they did that. In reply to: "Napster's latest: Best music-subscription deal ever?"

  • At least nowadays, Gameplay AND Graphics matter. These attributes go hand in hand.

BUT, Gameplay is what matters most, Obviously. In reply to: "Atari 2600 still schooling game designers"

  • Games need to come first & foremost in a GAMING console. All the extra malarkey just inflates the price, as the PS3 illustrates.

PS3 is too much like a mini computer for my liking. While nice, All it's extra features are unnecessary.

A console shouldn't cost $400, that price is absolutely ludicrous! $250 - maybe $300 for a consoles initial price is more reasonable.

Part of the wii's success is that it does something new & different that actually works instead of just being pointlessly gimmicky. In reply to: "Why the Wii and Xbox are killing Sony's PS3"
