This would be the same technology that is commonly used to teach relaxation techniques/biofeedback. Neuroscience is the future.

It even has the same obstacles for the most part. The only real difference other than the head piece is the price...I only paid $20 for the Harry Potter game. It lasted for about a month in my house, the first thing to mess up was the ball that you levitated, then the pieces started breaking when you would either take it aart or putting it together.

"The issue I have with Mindflex is that it seems to me like a solution looking for a problem. It's cool to be able to spin a blower fan faster by concentrating, but is the game itself engaging? Once the novelty factor wears off, I'm not sure the replay value of this experience will be very high.2

ARE YOU AN IDIOT? 100 years time this will be the norm for household appliances, cars, the internet. All controlled by the mind. How could it NOT be, if its so easy to make the hardware that people can afford to make stupid kids games with it?

I think that Mindflex Game can be a feedback device
for concentration and relaxation, so it can have a value
beyond to entertainment

What do you think about this?

About CES

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the world's largest consumer electronics trade show. CES 2009 is scheduled for January 8 through 11 in Las Vegas, and it will feature thousands of exhibitors showcasing their latest tech products. CNET's team of reporters and reviewers will be at the show, covering technology's heavy hitters and previewing thousands of products before they are released to the public.

Each year, CNET, in partnership with the Consumer Electronics Association, produces the Best of CES awards at the International Consumer Electronics Show. The CNET editorial team recognizes the best new products at the show with awards in 10 categories, an overall Best of Show award, and the People's Voice award, which is selected by CNET's online audience.
