I believe you guys have made a mistake in the model you have seen at cosco. I believe that you saw the previous model that does list for 1999.99. Because this tv isn't out yet.

I ordered the Vizio XVT VF551XVT LED 240Hz HDTV from Dell.com on Sep 24, 2009 using dell's 15% coupon ( 6FWJ247J1P44CK ), $1,869.15 with discount plus CA tax total $2,057.70, free 3 to 5 day shipping. Shipping is delayed, probably due to huge demand. It will arrive at my home on Sep 31.

In the past few days Sam's dropped to price on this to I believe $1878. Looked thru the back of the set and noticed that the panel is made by LG. I haven't been a big fan of Vizio in the past, I would rather pay a little more and get a better quality picture. But this tv has a great picture, an excellent value for the size and I now wish I would have waited instead of buying a 52" Sony a year ago for the same price.

About CES

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the world's largest consumer electronics trade show. CES 2009 is scheduled for January 8 through 11 in Las Vegas, and it will feature thousands of exhibitors showcasing their latest tech products. CNET's team of reporters and reviewers will be at the show, covering technology's heavy hitters and previewing thousands of products before they are released to the public.

Each year, CNET, in partnership with the Consumer Electronics Association, produces the Best of CES awards at the International Consumer Electronics Show. The CNET editorial team recognizes the best new products at the show with awards in 10 categories, an overall Best of Show award, and the People's Voice award, which is selected by CNET's online audience.
