don't laugh, i know of somebody who has a 42" plasma. ed definition, it won't show a dvd movie if you have the progressive scan on. no hdmi connection,. it has cpbr, not ypbr. now you can laugh !!! i won't even look at anything with that name on it.

I guess you missed the memos. Goldstar changed its name to LG in 1995 (LG stands for Lucky Goldstar).

Emerson's electronics business was bought by Funai in 2001, although they still sell products at Walmart using that name.
