Beyerdynamic makes some of my favorite headphones, but the company readily admits that an audio chain is only as good as its weakest link. Take their T 51 p on-ear headphones I raved about in November, they sound fine plugged into a phone, but to really hear the T 51 p, or any high-end headphone really strut its stuff you need an audiophile grade digital converter and headphone amplifier. That's where Beyerdynamic's A 200 p comes in handy.
Measuring a trim 2.2 inches by 2.2 inches by 0.5 inches, the A 200 p fits anywhere, and the battery provides up to 11 hours of music playing time. The Beyerdynamic A 200 p retails for $299 and is available now.
The Beyerdynamic A 200 p is currently on display at CES 2014 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
